September 15, CYLAND MediaArtLab co-founder and artist Anna Frants participated at the Digitally Engaged Learning conference in London. Hosted by University of the Arts London (UAL), DEL (Digitally Engaged Learning) is an international conference exploring and evolving digitally engaged teaching and learning in art and design Higher Education. DEL encourages practitioners and educators from creative disciplines to share, harness and critique digital tools and spaces. Themed ‘Teaching Making / Making Teaching’, this year’s conference sought to explore creative practices and processes of teaching with digital technology.
Together with the Digital Makers Collective, Anna Frants presented a session exploring emerging digital technologies in arts, education, society and the creative industries. During the session, participants helped to develop experimental projects and contribute in open development of ideas, and discovered ways to join and get involved in future Digital Maker Collective activities.
