CYBERFEST 2014 Opened at Kunstquartier Bethanien in Berlin

CYBERFEST 2014 marked a rapid international expansion with exhibition taking place from December 12 through 15 in Berlin at the very frontier of Art & Technology. The original festival for tech based art developed by CYLAND MediaArtLab opened to the general public on December 12 in Berlin with tremendous response from German people.

This year’s theme, “THE OTHER HOME”, explores the commonalities and differentiations among physical, emotional and cultural manifestations attached to the concept of «home». Following the tradition of legendary apartment shows of Soviet time — this exposition explores correlations between public and private, inner and outward, practical and idle, trivial and odd.

“THE OTHER HOME” exhibition at Kunstquartier Bethanien features a survey of contemporary Russian new media art by Marina Alexeeva, Lyudmila Belova, Petr Belyi, Andrey Kuzkin, Katya Bochavar, Elena Gubanova and Ivan Govorkov, Alexander Dashevsky, Marina Koldobskaya, Vladimir Kozin, Peter Lederer, Anna Frants, Petr Shvetsov, Vitaly Pushnitsky, Alexey Grachev, Alexander Terebenin, Alexander Shishkin-Hokusai, Sergey Komarov, Leta & Vladislav Dobrovolsky.

“THE OTHER HOME” performance program took place on December 15 at PLATOON Kunsthalle features Russian and local Berlin auditory artists Pete Um, Jonas Gruska, Alexandr Zaytsev, Georgy Bagdasarov and Boris Hegenbart.
