CYLAND MediaArtLab proudly announces its participation in Geek Picnic, the biggest science, technology, and art festival in Russia. Alexandra Dementieva, Sergey Komarov, and Alexey Grachev will present new media installation and perform live on June 18-19, 2016 in Moscow.
Alexandra Dementiva will speak on her career as a new media artist, her experience with technology, and theater and performance work. Dementieva’s new installation produced with CYLAND MediaArtLab will be presented at Geek Picnic. Entitled ‘Stalker’ it will visualize your dreams by some creative coding and hardware hacking.
‘Subjectivization of Sound’, CYLAND artists’ Alexey Grachev and Sergey Komarov live performance will combine digital and analog sound synthesis technologies in order to achieve a sound minimalism and a continuity of creative process during the creation of musical compositions and forms where the choice comes down to the subjective tendency of each one to a certain sounding.
CYLAND collaborators Andrey Bartenev and Sasha Frolova will also present their work during the event.
