September 12th, Arts Square Gallery in Moscow presents “Dialogue” – an installation by Elena Gubanova and Ivan Govorkov developed with CYLAND MediaArtLab, as well as works by Ivan Govorkov from his series “Jewelry Line”.
Gestures of robotic hands of the installation are homage to Michelangelo’s fresco “The Creation of Adam”, problematic dialogue between the Creator and Man in a post-human context. The same visual motif can be seen in the artist’s “Jewelry Line” series, where sculptural and jewelry motifs are combined with rough metallic tape, symbolizing gold and silver.
Cube Moscow is a platform where galleries, curators, artists, collectors and art lovers meet. Cube is located on the -2nd level of the building of The Ritz-Carlton, Moscow hotel, you could get to us: through the hotel’s parking and take the elevators up, or through the hotel’s lobby and take the parking elevators down, as well as through the street entrance from the Ermolova Theater side and take the elevator to the -2 floor from there.
