May 17, CYLAND MediaArtLab participates in the Media Art Festival at MAXXI, Museo delle Arti del XXI secolo, in Rome. The three-day festival explores new frontiers in art and technology through lectures, conferences, master classes and workshops, with the aim of bringing art closer to a younger generation while outlining creative ways to harness modern technology.
Based on the theme “The Great Convergence: Natural and Artificial Intelligence”, the festival brings artists as change makers, experimenting with new approaches and possibilities of the medium.
From May 17 to May 19, the festival’s events will give rise to an original exploration of the new frontiers of artistic creativity: exhibitions, workshops, laboratories, master classes and performances by a variety of artists including Eduardo Kac, Gary Hill, Vasulkas, and Audint among others.
CYLAND MediaArtLab brings recent media installations by Anna Frants, Elena Gubanova and Ivan Govorkov to the festival along with an education session on robotics in art by Anna Frants.
