CYFEST 15 Yerevan Open Call winners

Initiators: CYLAND MediaArtLab, ICA Yerevan and HayArt Cultural Center

Jury: Anna Frants (CYLAND), Elena Gubanova (CYLAND), Nazareth Karoyan (ICA Yerevan), Sergey Komarov (CYLAND), Victoria Ilyushkina (CYLAND).

Following a two month-long submission process in April-May and a two-week selection period in June, CYLAND is excited to announce the results of the CYFEST 15 Open Call for artists based in Armenia. In line with our artistic vision, we were looking for proposals that are multi-disciplinary, bold, inventive, and resonant, and which can be feasibly realized. We considered projects on various topics but prioritized those in dialogue with the curatorial concept of the festival.

The 15th edition of the CYFEST will focus on imagining new perspectives regarding the ostensible (anti)fragility of human and non-human body, bio and cyber environments, histories and futures, encounters and relationships with the world in transition.

The works of the selected artists will be included in the program of the CYFEST 15 festival, which will be held in Yerevan, Armenia from 2 to 18 September 2023.
