The latest exhibition project by CYLAND MediaArtLab ON MY WAY opened in Venice, Italy on May, 7 at the Cultural Zone of the Venetian University Ca’ Foscari. Parallel to the 56th International Art Exhibition, ON MY WAY is our third survey of contemporary Russian art in Italy that began with WE ARE HERE project in 2011.
As it is evident from its title, the exhibition ON MY WAY is about journey, but a journey both global and strictly individual. The creative journey of an artist, journey of a generation – the movement in time and space as a vector that unites the whole exhibition. Prior to the collapse of the Soviet Union, it was hard for Soviet Artists to quench their thirst for what was going on in the art of other countries.
